Pranamaya Kosha

During the lessons last week in Wilmslow and Alderley Edge we will be continuing to look at the Koshas and developing a deeper understanding of how asana can positively influence our physical structure.   We will be looking at Pranamaya Kosha, the energy sheath, and how we can influence our systems energetically through the selection of postures and the adaptation of the breath when they are practiced. Any malfunction in this sheath is noticed as afflictions of the breath, sensory issues and nervous problems.  Pranayama can be an effective remedy as it can nourish our vitality and help restore it after illness.
